TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL SWITCHOVER

Over the next 3 years analogue terrestrial television picture broadcasts will be switched off on a regional basis leaving digital Freeview channels for terrestrial reception. Within the LBO this will mean that all old CRT / LCD / PLASMA screens with analogue tuners are potentially not able to receive and display the new digital terrestrial Freeview channels.

LBO Engineers can provide the full turnkey solution for integrating Freeview terrestrial television or Freesat into the LBO without the need to replace existing televisions.

1. LBO Engineers can provide a suitable external Freeview STB and modulation equipment for integration into the shop distribution system
2. As existing LBO UHF shop distribution pictures are analogue, the LBO Engineers solution receives and converts the digital pictures back to analogue so the existing televisions continue to display live pictures.
3. Configure, modulate and integrate the new Freeview STB and modulation equipment into the existing shop distribution to display and work alongside TurfTV / SIS / SIS+ / BSKYB
4. Provide pictures to single or multiple screens at the customer's request. LBO Engineers recommend multiple screen display to remove single point of failure.
